Budway Enterprises, Inc. is a transportation company providing modal-to-modal inventory management and delivery services for products moving into Southern California via rail, truck, or ocean vessel.

Budway’s primary commodity focus currently includes various types of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys (coiled steel, structural steel, pipe, wire, plate, aluminum, zinc) and lumber products. The common denominator for all of these commodities is that these products move via flatbed trailer for the final segment of the delivery chain and are sourced from inbound rail movements or overseas cargo ships.

Budway is an industry leader in providing technology solutions for inventory management, receiving national recognition for its innovations in this area. Through BudwayDirect, a proprietary data-management tool, Budway provides clients with around-the-clock, direct, real-time access to their product’s status and location.

Budway serves clients throughout Southern California and is positioned with facilities in Fontana and Long Beach. Budway has 120 employees, including 45 company drivers, and operates a company-owned, uniform fleet of 61 Kenworth tractors, all of which are 1996 or newer.

Budway is the largest rail-transloading company in the nation for non-bulk commodities, loading/unloading more than 7,000 railcars through its headquarters facility each year.
